- Advait used blender to convert STL files from solidworks to DAE files. DAE is what openrave and the urdf_to_collada utility like.
[edit] Tips
- blender treats one unit as one meter. if your original STL file is in mm, blender will make it a thousand times larger.
- To scale-
- select the object by right cliking on it.
- hit n
- type in the new scale in the dialog box.
